Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Optimize and refactor code for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with BFSI regulatory requirements.
Work on integrating APIs and third-party services used in Banking, Finance, and Insurance systems.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development cycles.
Contribute to the adoption of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and emerging technologies within BFSI systems.

Required Technical Skills :

Core Java expertise with strong OOP concepts.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration patterns.

Familiarity with BFSI domain workflows such as payments, risk management, or lending platforms.

Understanding of database technologies (SQL / NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.

Experience with Git, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization tools (Docker / Kubernetes).

Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSL / TLS) in BFSI environments is a plus.

Education :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
