Azure Devops Engineer

Minimum 6+ years’ experience working in infrastructure and cloud platforms. Experience using any versioning control system like Git and Setting up repositories, branching and access controlling.

Hands-on with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps workflows

Hands on with containerization and orchestration tools like docker and Kubernetes

Must have a strong experience in provisioning and deployment of PaaS and IaaS services like Azure AD, AKS, Storage, Networking, Compute, Azure Key Vault etc.

Identifying cyber-security measures by vulnerability assessment tools like Az-defender, Kenna etc.

Hands-on with any one of the monitoring tools like AppD or NewRelic

Hands-on automation server like Jenkins, CI / CD, build tools etc.

Hands-on experience in micro-services.

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows platforms.

Good understanding of Azure services like VM scale sets, networking, monitoring insights, licencing, RBAC etc.

Understanding the HADR technologies, building and migrating workloads as per business requirements.

Working knowledge and building DB in Azure (MySQL / NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB)

Hands-on infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform.

Familiar with at least one scripting language such as Shell, Python or PowerShell.

[[ Responsibilities ]]

Responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure like network setup, resource allocation, storage, and security.

Responsible for setting up Jenkins, CI / CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters & integrating with various DevOps toolchains.

Responsible for overall automation wherever applicable eg., IAC, PAC, IAAS and other custom automation.

Responsible for automating software installation & configuration, OS hardening, patching, etc.

Responsible for setting up logging & monitoring solutions.

Understanding customer requirements, NFR and project KPIs.

Define and execute the release and support processes on DevOps operations.

Abide in and follow DevSecops policies and standards of both industry and company.

Collaborate and support cross teams on their deliveries

Periodically review and resolve the security health of the project / Infrastructure.
