Job descriptionDesign and document platform aspects such as data models, APIs, integration frameworks, and security mechanisms. Architect for scalability and high availability to meet the demands of large-scale citizen services. Optimize performance for fast response times and efficient resource utilization. Implement robust security mechanisms to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with government standards. Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation planning. Strong understanding of architectural principles and patterns (microservices, event-driven, SOA, cloud-native). Proven expertise in large-scale distributed systems and enterprise-level platforms. Hands-on experience with : Solid understanding of API design, data security, and performance optimization. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Prior experience in government or citizen-facing platforms would be an advantage.
About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of the UPYOG (Unified Platform for Online Governance) platform. This role is pivotal in defining the platforms architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability, while driving adoption of modern engineering practices. The Senior Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and guide the engineering team in building a future-ready governance platform.

- Define the overall architecture of the UPYOG platform, including system components, interfaces, and integration points.
- Lead architectural initiatives, driving the adoption of best practices and modern frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to scalability, reliability, and security principles across all layers.

Key Skills & Experience :
1. Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP
2. Containerization & orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes
3. Databases : SQL & NoSQL systems
4. Programming languages : Java, Python, or similar enterprise technologies
