OpenShift Migration Architect

Job Description :

1. OpenShift Application migration architect with ability to design, strategy, and execution of migrating workloads to OpenShift.

2. Should worked minimum of 7 years in assessing existing infrastructure, planning containerization strategies and define a migration roadmap to cloud preferably in OpenShift

3. Minimum 3 years of hands-on work experience in RedHat OpenShift cloud migration

4. The candidate needs to have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI / CD, and cloud-native architectures to ensure a seamless migration process.

5. Minimum 5 years of hands-on work experience in application containerization using Docker and use of Kubernetes

6. Should have experience in accessing the GitHub repositories and build local build of the application prior to migration.

7. Experience in any one of the technologies to make required configuration changes for the application migration to cloud : Java or .Net or Python

8. Should have experience in Integrating CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps) for automated deployments.

9. Develop and enforce security & governance policies for OpenShift workloads

10. Hands on experience in Automating OpenShift provisioning and scaling using Helm

11. Should have experience in Configuring Networking, Ingress, Service Mesh , and OpenShift Routes.

12. Should Conduct performance testing & tuning post-migration

13. Should be good in communication and documentation skills. Should work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
