GIS Engineer - Python

The company originates and aggregates high-quality projects that include a combination of nature-based solutions like agroforestry and regenerative agriculture. With over 100K farmers in the pipeline, and 150k ha; designated for these projects, Equilibrium is building a pipeline of about 1M carbon-credits annually. We are seeking a highly competent and driven individual to join our team as a Full Stack Engineer.

Key Responsibilities :

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following :

• Build workflows to pull data from the dMRV database to run calculations
• Support our science and engineering teams to develop and maintain GIS workflows
• Analyze calculated data to support the dMRV audit flow
• Build simple dashboards using our internal tools into the dMRV solution
• Develop and maintain secure server-side applications using Node.js and Python
• Work with SQL databases and handle data modeling, migrations, and optimizations
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code & participate in code reviews
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and best practices
