The ideal candidate will be responsible for
1) Design and Development of Fuel System for all fuels.
Exhaust System with After Treatment for all fuels. Engine / Motor Installation.
2) New Product Introduction design and development process. Design and Development of fuel, Exhaust & Engine / Motor mount system.
3) Target setting based on Customer, regulatory requirements. And Competition & benchmark analysis. QFD.
4) DMU Review & integrating automotive systems. Design performance calculations, DFMEA, DVP & CAE verifications. DFM, DFA & DFS. Design the system to meet functional, performance and reliability requirements.
5) Interaction with suppliers for design, development, testing and validation. IQD & IQA.
6) Homologation certification.
7) 8D, Failure root cause analysis.
8) Conceptualise & workout detail designs
9) Conduct design reviews & co-ordination with CFT
10) Co-ordination for prototype build and support testing, validation & certification.
11) Workout value engineering proposals
12) Engineering Sign-off and design approval.
13) Prepare project time plans
14) Manage team of 20 members.
15) Ensure and quality and timeliness of deliveries as per customer requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 13-15 Years experience
