Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Test Engineer

to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of software releases. You will collaborate closely with developers, test engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software products.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications.

Collaborate with Test Engineers to develop effective test strategies and test plans.

Execute manual test cases and analyze results.

Evaluate product functionality and ensure it meets specifications.

Create detailed logs to document testing phases and identified defects.

Report and track bugs using tools like JIRA.

Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Perform post-release and post-implementation testing.

Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar QA role.

Minimum

1 year of experience in Software Testing.

Hands-on experience in test strategy preparation, test planning, test data management, and test script development.

Familiarity with source code control systems and issue tracking tools (e.g.,

Git, JIRA ).

Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good understanding of

databases

and ability to perform basic queries.

Experience working in

Agile development environments

and understanding of QA methodologies.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
