Role : Embedded Systems & Integration Intern

We are seeking an intern with hands-on interest in microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mechatronics integration. You will support the development and management of embedded software that bridges hardware with higher-level robotic systems. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain experience in real-world software-hardware workflows while contributing directly to robotics R&D.

Responsibilities

  • Work on embedded platforms such as Arduino and NVIDIA Jetson for control and integration.
  • Manage and maintain codebases for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
  • Assist in interfacing sensors, actuators, and other hardware components.
  • Debug and test hardware-software pipelines.
  • Contribute to time-intensive coding and integration tasks to support core engineering work.
  • Document processes and maintain clear version control practices (Git).

Requirements

  • Familiarity with C, C++ and / or Python.
  • Basic understanding of electronics (sensors, circuits, wiring) to interpret and implement code effectively.
  • Comfort with microcontrollers (Arduino) and microprocessors (Jetson or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

    • Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience with mechatronics or robotics projects.
  • Knowledge of real-time programming concepts.
  • Experience with Git / GitHub for code management.
