Job Overview

You will lead business development for prefabricated construction solutions, focusing on PUF panels, modular buildings, and prefab structural systems. Your role involves driving sales, engaging architects / contractors, and positioning Modulus as a leader in off-site construction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Lead Generation

  • Identify opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial prefab construction.
  • Target real estate developers, EPC firms, government infra projects, and corporate clients.
  • 2. Client Engagement & Technical Sales

  • Conduct prefab solution presentations, highlighting cost, speed, and quality advantages.
  • Address design flexibility, load-bearing capacity, and compliance (IS codes, fire safety, seismic norms).
  • 3. Proposal Development

  • Collaborate with engineering & design teams to create customized prefab layouts.
  • Ensure proposals meet thermal efficiency, structural integrity, and installation feasibility.
  • 4. Deal Closure & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle (pricing, approvals, contracts).
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and site teams for seamless execution.
  • 5. Market Intelligence

  • Track prefab construction trends, government policies (PMAY, Smart Cities), and competitor moves.
  • Provide inputs for new product development and market expansion.
  • Qualification & Skills

    Educational Background

  • Bachelor's / Master's in Civil / Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Experience

  • 5+ years in prefab construction sales, modular building solutions, or light-steel framing systems.
  • Exposure to EPC firms, real estate developers, or industrial construction projects.
  • Skills

  • Strong technical sales & negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of prefab design software (AutoCAD, Revit), BIM, and ERP tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work with cross-functional teams.
