Primary Responsibilities
- Product Manager for US Healthcare IT product or portfolio of products
- To work with one of our teams working on Operational Intelligence (OPSi) a Risk Engine in the Risk and Quality Space (RQ) within Optum Insight Organization
- To work closely with the Product Manager / s in the US and gather the roadmap and drive the delivery working with the Scrum teams that are distributed globally
- Be able to define and drive product strategy and Roadmap for OPSi product / s
- Clearly articulate product vision, strategy and roadmap to engineering team effectively as and when needed
- Owner of portfolio backlog and roadmap execution
- Collaborate with UX and engineering team to drive product design as applicable
- Identifies and accesses relevant data to build compelling business case in self-directed manner
- Consistent value delivery based on business MBOs
- Drive system demo to stakeholders and customers
- Prioritize backlog at feature and user story level with complete understanding of feature
- Effective action on feedback received during retro meetings
- Identify potential issues and pro-actively develops mitigation plans
- Build and drive culture of innovation in the portfolio

Required Qualifications
Graduate degree or equivalent experience6+ years of product management experience in US Healthcare IT Industry (MBA or equivalent business degree is preferred)Deep understanding of Healthcare domain, segments business practices and financial structuresExpertise in defining and driving product strategy and Roadmap for productsExpertise in identifies business opportunities to leverage technology and driving improvements in product capabilitiesExpertise in defining user or buyer personas, translating user or buyer needs and decision criteria into actionable plansExpertise in analyzing, reviewing, and forecasting data for operational and business planningExpertise in gathering market insights, analysis competitive landscape and recommend product strategy across the product lifecycle.Expertise in driving cost or benefit analysis and track forecast to ensure the product is performing as expectedExpertise in applying data-driven knowledge and best practices to improve productExpertise in gathering requirements from the business, documenting and maintaining product backlog / roadmapExpertise in process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes requiredUnderstanding and ability to conduct meaningful conversation with technology team on various existing and emerging technologies and overall solution spaceKnowledgeable in using Gen AI tools for requirement gathering like Story CraftAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
