Chief manager - financial reporting

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Head of Financial Reporting to lead and manage all aspects of our financial reporting process. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND AS / IFRS / US GAAP). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in financial reporting, strong leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IND AS / IFRS / GAAP / local standards) and regulatory requirements.

Manage internal and external audits, including coordination with auditors and timely resolution of audit findings.

Oversee financial consolidations for multiple entities / business units (if applicable).

Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.

Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and controls.

Liaise with senior leadership, investors, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory reports, tax returns, and other regulatory disclosures.

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications :

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent.

12+ years of experience in finance / accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a financial reporting leadership role.

Strong knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, US GAAP, or relevant accounting frameworks.
