A premium beachside resort in Salcete Taluka, South Goa is looking for a capable and experienced Assistant Banquet Manager to independently handle all aspects of banquet operations and enquiries.
This is a standalone role, ideal for someone ready to take charge of both sales coordination and on-ground execution of events including weddings, MICE, and social gatherings. You will work closely with senior management and F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle all banquet-related enquiries, client walk-ins, and site visits
Convert leads into bookings and coordinate client requirements
Plan and oversee event setups, service flow, and vendor coordination
Manage banquet operations during functions and ensure client satisfaction
Report directly to the General Manager / senior leadership team
Maintain records of events, billing follow-ups, and post-event reports
Requirements :
2–4 years of experience in banquet / event operations or sales (preferably in resorts or hotels)
Strong communication and guest-handling skills
Able to independently manage multiple events and client expectations
Based in Goa, preferably South Goa or nearby locations
Outstation applicants will not be considered
