Position Overview :
As an Inside Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in harnessing business opportunities through proactive conversations, relationship-building, and delivering effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation & Management : Identify and qualify potential leads from various channels.
Oversee the CRM system for effective lead management and reporting.
Sales Execution : Reach out to potential students, understanding their educational needs, and suggesting suitable courses. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing department to align sales strategies.
Share insights and feedback from clients to the product team, aiding in course improvement and creation.
Sales Training & Development : Assist in training new inside sales representatives, ensuring they are well-versed with upGrad's offerings.
Continually enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry understanding to drive sales performance.
Customer Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers. Ensure smooth transition of customers from the sales phase to the onboarding process.
Desired Skills & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the Edtech or E-learning industry.
Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with clients.
Proficient in CRM software and other sales-enhancing technologies.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
Understanding of the Indian education landscape will be an advantage.
