About the Role : We are seeking a proactive Operations and Maintenance Engineer to ensure maximum uptime of our production lines while continuously improving efficiency. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves both fixing machines and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Execute planned preventive maintenance and respond to unplanned breakdowns to minimize downtime

Install, commission, and set up new production machinery and equipment

Perform root-cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions

Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)

Apply Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) to reduce waste, defects, and variation

Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize workflows

Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Train operators on basic troubleshooting and proper machine operation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus

Required Skills & Certifications

Lean Manufacturing experience (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, 5S)

Six Sigma – Basic Knowledge

Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Proficient with maintenance software / CMMS

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Experience with Autodesk Fusion will be a plus

Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD will be a plus
