Job descriptionHands-on experience with DBT for data transformations. Working knowledge of Snowflake for data warehousing. Basic to intermediate experience with AWS services (Glue, S3, DMS). Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jira. Good communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models and transformations using DBT.
- Load and manage data in Snowflake, including staging and curated layers.
- Implement data ingestion processes from various sources using AWS services (Glue, S3, DMS).
- Apply business logic to transform data and build facts and dimensions as per requirements.
- Assist in orchestration and scheduling of workflows using AWS tools or equivalent.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and POD Leads to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and transformations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide updates in Jira.
