Position : Drone Systems and AI Engineer
We are seeking a Drone Systems and AI Engineer to support the development and integration of AI models and algorithms for defense-grade drone systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge AI and drone technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and fine-tune flight control algorithms (e.g., PID) for stable and autonomous drone navigation.
- Integrate onboard sensors (IMU, GPS, barometer) with flight systems, and support calibration and testing.
- Write and maintain embedded code for microcontrollers, edge-computing platforms, and real-time applications.
- Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software simulations to validate performance.
- Assist in live drone testing, including pre-flight checks, telemetry monitoring, and data logging.
- Troubleshoot firmware and communication issues between flight controllers and onboard systems.
- Document code, test cases, and results; collaborate using Git / version control tools.
- Stay updated on open-source drone platforms (PX4, ArduPilot) and contribute to prototype iterations.
- Contribute to integrated satellite-drone hardware and software development as required.
Qualifications
B.Tech. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.3-5 years of experience in ML model development preferred.Proficiency in Python; familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).Strong grasp of data preprocessing, training, and deployment of models.Basic knowledge of GPU acceleration (CUDA) and embedded platforms (NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, Intel, Apple Silicon).Familiarity with scientific computing tools (NumPy, Pandas).Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative teams.Why Join Us?
