As part of our growth, we are seeking talented Network and Security Engineers to join our dynamic team in either Bengaluru or Chennai.

About the Role :

We are looking for motivated Network and Security Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to support our network and security products. This role will play a crucial part in implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Versa’s cutting-edge security solutions, ensuring our clients have the most reliable and secure network access.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS / IPS, and SASE.
  • Work with SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE technologies to provide secure, high-performance solutions for our clients.
  • Troubleshoot network and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Maintain documentation, including diagrams, policies, and configurations.
  • Testing and documenting the use cases.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in networking and security.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, IDS / IPS and VPNs.
  • Exposure to SASE, SSE, and SD-WAN solutions is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as Zero Trust, encryption, and access control.
  • Experience with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) are advantageous.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging networking and security technologies.

    • Certifications (Preferred) :

  • CCNA, JNCIA, CCNP, JNCIP
  • CompTIA Security+, CEH or other security certifications.
  • Versa VNX100, Versa VNX125
