Senior Landscape Architect

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and creative

Senior Landscape Architect

to lead design development and project coordination across a wide range of landscape projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual design abilities, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to guide the design team from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Site Understanding and Analysis -

Understanding the site’s topography, climate, vegetation, drainage, existing features, and surrounding context identify the opportunities and constraints that influence the design approach.

Defining the Design Vision and Concept -

Based on the analysis and client brief to develop an overarching

design vision or concept narrative

• . This captures the desired mood, function, and identity of the space — whether it’s ecological, experiential, cultural, or aesthetic in nature.

Conceptual Layout and Form Development -

Through sketches and diagrams, to explore the

forms, patterns, and spatial relationships

— integrating softscape, hardscape, and built elements harmoniously. This is where the overall

design character

begins to take shape.

Lead the

3D visualization, design development, and detailing

of landscape projects.

Oversee the preparation of

presentations, design drawings, construction documentation, and BOQs

Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.

Provide

technical guidance

to junior designers and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Participate in

site reviews

, design evaluations, and provide solutions during project execution.

Contribute to

sustainable and context-sensitive design approaches

Support the business development team in design presentations and project proposals.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Landscape Architecture

from a recognized institution.

8-10 years of professional experience

in landscape design and project coordination.

Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of

landscape typologies

(residential, commercial, institutional, urban, etc.).

Proficiency in

AutoCAD, SketchUp.

Excellent understanding of

planting design, materials, and construction detailing

Strong communication, leadership, and client interaction skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience working on

medium scale

to

large-scale or high-end projects

Knowledge of

sustainable design principles

and

landscape standards

Ability to mentor team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Good communication skills - Hindi, English
