Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an ACCOUNTANT located in Karnal. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial reports. Daily tasks include recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Maintain and update general ledger, accounts payable & receivable, and bank & cash transactions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Reconcile vendor statements, reconcile bank statements; investigate and correct discrepancies.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
• Handle statutory compliances : GST, TDS, PF / ESI, etc., as applicable.
• Support audits (internal & external) by preparing required documents and responding to queries.
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Working under Chartered Accountant (C.A.) preferred.
