We are expanding our footprint and seeking a Business Development Consultant to strengthen our client network and drive growth in our recruitment business.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Consultant , you will play a pivotal role in expanding Talent Sutra’s client base and building long-term partnerships with organizations across sectors. You’ll identify potential clients, understand their talent challenges, and offer customized recruitment and HR solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong network, entrepreneurial drive, and passion for connecting businesses with the right people.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the recruitment and HR consulting space.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding hiring needs and workforce challenges.
- Pitch Talent Sutra’s services (Recruitment, Leadership Development, Wellness) to HR Heads, Business Leaders, and Founders.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and customized solutions to win new mandates.
- Work closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure client satisfaction and timely closures.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Represent Talent Sutra in networking events, online forums, and industry meetups.
Key Skills & Competencies
Proven experience (3–8 years) in business development / client acquisition within recruitment, staffing, or HR consulting.Strong understanding of corporate hiring cycles and talent management solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Self-driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working independently.Strong networking ability with decision-makers and HR professionals.Proficiency in CRM tools, , and proposal writing.
