SAS Developer – Fraud Management (SFM Framework)

Experience : 5+ Years

Location : Chennai

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer with a strong background in SAS Fraud Management (SFM) and Visual Investigator (VI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and implementing fraud detection solutions, as well as a good understanding of modern technology stacks including Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement SAS solutions using SAS Fraud Management (SFM).
  • Develop and maintain SAS programs, macros, and scripts to support fraud monitoring and reporting.
  • Integrate SAS components with Java-based microservices and APIs.
  • Work with stakeholders to design and optimize fraud detection models and workflows.
  • Perform data analysis and transformation using SQL and SAS Data Integration tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, documentation, and security best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of SAS code.
  • Research and benchmark new technologies to improve existing fraud detection systems.

Required Technical Skills :

  • 5+ years of SAS development and design experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAS Fraud Management (SFM) implementation.
  • Experience with SAS Visual Investigator (VI).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data entity management.
  • Good understanding of APIs, JSON, and data integration concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

    • Functional Skills :

  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domains (preferred).
  • Familiarity with fraud detection processes, case management, and rule design.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of technical and application architecture principles.
