About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary

Head of Platform Engineering

to lead the evolution of our global

DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure ecosystem

at Webskitters.

This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for defining the strategy, architecture, and operational excellence of our internal platforms that empower development teams, drive automation, and deliver value across a diverse portfolio of global clients.

As the strategic owner of our cloud platform and delivery framework, you will oversee the creation of scalable, secure, and self-service systems that enable engineering agility, cost efficiency, and consistent quality across all projects. The role requires deep technical expertise in AWS, proven team leadership experience, and strong exposure to service-based delivery models.

Required Skills & Experience Essential

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) – Mandatory.

12–15 years of total experience

in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.

Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or team management capacity.

Proven track record in a service-based organisation, leading cloud and platform teams across multiple client projects.

Strong expertise in :

AWS Cloud Infrastructure (networking, storage, compute, scaling).

CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CodePipeline, or equivalent).

Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).

Monitoring and Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

Experience implementing automation for deployment, configuration management, and system scaling.

Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, compliance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

Additional certifications in

Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD), DevOps, or Cloud Security .

Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.

Exposure to compliance-driven industries (finance, healthcare, or enterprise IT).

Experience or certification in Cyber and Data Security will be considered a significant advantage.

(e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or practical exposure to data protection and secure cloud architecture).
