Visionet Systems - Senior Cloud Security Engineer - Threat Modeling

Description : Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.

This role will be critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement robust cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection controls.
• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud engineering, and application teams to integrate security into cloud infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Configure and manage cloud-native security tools and services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center).
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and cloud security posture management.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud-related security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular cloud security reviews, audits, and penetration testing.
• Automate security operations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Evaluate and implement third-party security solutions for enhanced protection and visibility.
• Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to the overall security awareness across teams.
