Job Description :

As a Java Developer with Microservices Experience, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient microservices-based applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications using Java and related technologies.

Collaborate with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.

Implement RESTful APIs and design scalable and efficient communication protocols between microservices.

Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of microservices through proper testing, monitoring, and optimization.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to maintain code quality and stability.

Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deploying and managing microservices.

Utilize cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Azure) to build and deploy microservices-based solutions.

Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in microservices architecture and Java development.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture.

Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks / libraries (e.G., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).

Strong understanding of microservices design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.G., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.G., Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Azure) and cloud-native development practices.

Experience with relational and / or NoSQL databases.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications (not required, but a plus) :

Certification in Java and / or cloud technologies.

Experience with message brokers and event-driven architecture (e.G., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.

Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.G., JUnit, Mockito).

Understanding of security best practices in microservices architecture.
