About Us

Hill Farm Organics is an innovative fermentation company based in Palampur, H.P., developing modern beverage experiences rooted in craftsmanship and sustainability. We are expanding into the world of on-tap kombucha and craft beverages , and are setting up a workshop to retrofit deep freezers into custom kegerators for commercial use.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager who can set up, organize, and manage daily operations of our kegerator fabrication and assembly unit . This includes developing efficient build processes, managing parts inventory, supervising technicians, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and organize a small-scale workshop for retrofitting deep freezers into kegerators.
Develop fabrication processes for insulation, drilling, tower mounting, and line installation.
Manage procurement of tools, parts, and fittings (CO₂ regulators, taps, towers, hoses, connectors, etc.).
Oversee assembly, wiring, leak testing, and performance QA for each unit.
Maintain build documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with product design and operations teams to refine models for scalability.
Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.
Train and manage workshop staff or technicians as the team grows.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Refrigeration Engineering (preferred).

3+ years of hands-on experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, or fabrication workshops.

Strong understanding of cooling systems, wiring, and mechanical assembly.

Basic knowledge of F&B dispensing systems (beer or beverage taps) is a plus.

Ability to manage workshop operations independently.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and practical innovation.
