Job description

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure that BLUE delivers flawless performance across video ingestion, compression, AI analytics, and reporting layers. The QA Engineer will design and execute test plans for video pipelines, APIs, dashboards, and AI outputs, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Planning
Define QA processes for video streams, APIs, and analytics dashboards.
Develop test plans covering functional, performance, regression, and system testing.
Video Pipeline Testing
Validate end-to-end CCTV feed ingestion, compression, storage, and retrieval.
Test for latency, frame loss, video quality, and playback accuracy across formats (H.264, H.265, HLS).
AI / Analytics Validation
Verify dense captions, KPIs, and events generated by AI / VLM pipelines.
Cross-check analytics accuracy against ground truth or business rules.

Automation & Tools :

Build and maintain automated test suites for APIs, dashboards, and data flows.

Integrate QA automation into CI / CD pipelines.

Cross-Industry Scenarios

Design test cases for retail footfall analytics, QSR queue detection, petro retail compliance, manufacturing safety monitoring.

Collaboration :

Work closely with developers, AI engineers, and product managers to identify bugs early and ensure smooth releases.

Maintain QA documentation, bug reports, and release checklists.

Required Skills :

Proven experience in QA / testing for SaaS, video platforms, or analytics products.

Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST, GraphQL).

Familiarity with video streaming protocols (RTSP, HLS, DASH).

Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, Robot, Cypress).

Understanding of SQL / NoSQL databases for validating stored analytics data.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
