Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing portal sites with a focus on feature-rich design, usability, and site performance.
  • The Technical Specialist will deliver solutions based on requirements and pending schedules.
  • This role involves establishing and executing unit and integration tests.
  • The specialist will provide work effort estimates for assigned projects.
  • The ideal candidate should apply industry practices, architectural standards, and department policies to work assignments.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise is also a key responsibility of this position.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-level customer-facing solutions from start to finish is required.
  • The successful candidate should have advanced development experience utilizing React and related technologies (3+ years).
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical requirements is a must.
  • Web UI development experience for complex business applications is also necessary.
  • Proficient in React, Redux, Typescript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, Responsive Design, Media Queries, Ag-Grid, Material UI controls, Web services, code management tools, automated build setup, and deployment procedures is a requirement.
  • Personal time-management skills with an ability to meet deadlines are essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple IT disciplines is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Insurance industry experience is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
