Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Branch Relationship Manager to lead our branch banking operations. The ideal candidate will be a middle-management professional with a strong background in retail banking and retail liabilities. This role is crucial for not only achieving sales targets and profitability but also for expanding our distribution network and fostering strong, long-term relationships with distributors to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Profitability : Take full responsibility for driving and achieving the sales targets for the branch, while also ensuring overall profitability.
- Distribution Network Expansion : Strategically identify potential locations for expansion and actively work on growing the branch's distribution network.
- Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors by providing necessary sales support through regular communication, one-on-one meetings, and dissemination of marketing materials.
- Distributor Servicing : Ensure high-quality service for all distributors within the branch, including addressing their queries and providing timely support.
- Business Development : Actively take steps to develop long-term associations with key and potential distributors to secure repetitive business.
- Market Presence and Training : Enhance brand visibility by organizing events, conferences, and product sessions. Provide soft skills training and ensure distributors are well-versed in all products, operational procedures, and regulatory changes.
- Market Intelligence : Collect and report market information on competitors to the central team on a regular basis.
- Operational and Financial Management : Oversee all operational transactions to ensure compliance with guidelines and high standards of customer service. Manage the branch budget and expenses effectively.
- Auditing and Compliance : Take full responsibility for addressing and resolving all audit observations related to the branch.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work in collaboration with various departments, including HR and Admin, on matters such as recruitment, property services, and distributor payouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
PG / Master's degree in a relevant field.Proven experience in Branch Banking or Retail Banking.Strong background as a Branch Manager, Branch Head, or Branch Incharge.A track record of being results-driven and a natural networker.Excellent team management and collaboration skills.(ref : iimjobs.com)
