Thisrole involves designing an intuitive UI and implementing robust backend logic for seamless deviceinteraction, all while working remotely.Responsibilities :

• Design and develop a user-friendly, responsive UI for an iOS app to control smart LEDlighting devices, ensuring compatibility with features like presence simulation, timers, astro-timers, fading dimming, and touchless controls.
• Implement backend logic to integrate the app with smart lighting devices via APIs, ensuringreliable communication for automatic on / off, dimming, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the project team to translate requirements into technical specifications,focusing on intuitive user experiences and robust functionality.
• Optimize app performance for iOS devices, ensuring low latency and energy efficiencyduring lighting control interactions.
• Integrate the app with cloud-based infrastructure for remote device management and real-time updates.
• Ensure app compatibility with the latest iOS versions and devices, adhering to Apple’sdesign and performance guidelines.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and maintenance to deliver a high-quality, bug-freeuser experience.
• Work remotely, providing regular updates and participating in virtual meetings to align onproject goals.Requirements :
• 4+ years of experience in iOS app development, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI / UXdesign and backend integration.
• Proficiency in Swift and Xcode for building responsive, high-performance iOS applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile apps with hardware devices or IoTsystems.
• Strong understanding of iOS UI / UX principles, including Apple’s Human InterfaceGuidelines, to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi-Fi, or other protocols for devicecommunication.
• Knowledge of backend development concepts, such as handling API requests, JSONparsing, and data synchronization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with a distributed team.Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience developing apps for smart home or IoT devices, particularly lighting or homeautomation systems.
• Knowledge of app security best practices, including secure data transmission and userauthentication.
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks like XCTest or XCUITest.
