We at Accolade Electronics are on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Support team.
Job Description
- The candidate is expected to have Excellent problem-solving, strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly, and must be a self-starter
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to go to Empanelment testing at different state & work collaboratively with State Backends
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve the required
- Talk customers through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat, until they’ve solved a technical query & provide prompt and accurate feedback
- Basic knowledge of Telematics, CAN, Vehicle Wiring
- Technical knowledge as well as market study required on the Telematics in the Automobile field and Automotive applications
- Co-ordinate with customer QA Team & Sensorise for any Network SIM Validity activation-related issues
- Coordinate with Dealers and the customer Sales team for Vehicle availability Ignition status etc.
- Support to field team guide them & Monitoring Team Efficiency
- Ask customers (Internal & external) targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the issue
- Should keep traveling in the local areas on customer request. In the future should be ready to move further locations for resolving the customer‘s queries / Empanelment testing / relevant issue-related testing
- Use of Utilise tools developed by the engineering team to modify user/vehicle data for resolving support issues
- Train educate assist, and guide other employees within the Support
- An important aspect is to identify and alert the necessary stakeholders on larger issues and trends and understand the magnitude and scope of the issues
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Maintain jovial relationships with clients
- Server operation modifications if required Manage the FOTA OTA activity daily
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for customers and management
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
Desired technical skills
- AIS-140 Empanelment / Protocol / TCP protocols / Testing / Implementation
- Knowledge of Telematics Tracking device GPS Network connectivity
- Knowledge of Various testing tools CAN & Languages (Basic Python & Labview)
- Knowledge of MS Office, Report Design, Report Generation Report Analysis
- Strong Written / Verbal Communication Skills
