Field Engineer – Network & Security

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and security devices, including Cisco routers, switches, and PAN firewalls / VPNs.
• Support L1 / L2 operations, following incident workflows and SLA requirements to ensure highly available environments.
• Manage and maintain a wide range of network infrastructure, including structured cabling, VLANs, VPNs, and VoIP.
• Utilize network management tools for monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Configure and administer UNIX systems, including DNS, DHCP, Web, FTP, Mail, VPN, and other services.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, SOPs, engineering drawings, and other technical records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate project status, issues, and recommendations to management.
• Influence the development and implementation of networking standards to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors, including negotiations and vendor management.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational and time management skills.
