Role Summary

The Business Development Analyst will support the organization’s strategic growth efforts by conducting market research, analyzing business data, and identifying new business opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to gather insights, develop actionable business cases, and contribute to revenue growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth market and financial analyses to identify growth opportunities and assess risks.

Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies and align on business priorities.

Assist in the development and monitoring of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning.

Prepare detailed presentations, proposals, and reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Track competitor activities, product launches, and industry trends to inform tactical adjustments.

Support negotiation processes by providing relevant data, market insights, and business impact analyses.

Facilitate cross-functional meetings to communicate findings, progress, and strategic recommendations.

Help optimize existing business processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements.

Participate in client and partner meetings to understand needs and tailor business development approaches.

Maintain and update CRM and other business systems to ensure accurate pipeline and opportunity management.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales funnel metrics to measure effectiveness of business initiatives.

Coordinate follow-up actions for leads, proposals, and partnership opportunities to maximize conversion rates.

Required Qualifications

4–5 years of experience supporting business development or strategic growth functions, ideally within fintech or related sectors

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau

Experience in market research methodologies and competitive intelligence

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline

Additional certifications in Sales Strategy, Market Research, or Analytics are a plus
