A creative and motivated Designer with 2-3 years of experience in menswear design. Someone passionate about fashion, eager to learn, and ready to bring fresh energy and ideas to the table. The role involves supporting the existing design team across all stages of product development with a focus on all menswear categories.
Key Responsibilities :
- Menswear Design- Assist in developing relevant and trend-aligned designs specifically for menswear categories – including fabrics, silhouettes, graphics, detailing, and fits.
- Creative Contribution- Share new ideas, design inspirations, and creative inputs that align with the brand’s aesthetic and target audience.
- Trend & Market Research- Conduct research on global and local menswear trends, market activity, and competitor brands to contribute to the seasonal direction.
- Graphic & CAD Design- Create sketches, artwork, and visual representations using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools, especially for menswear prints, graphics, and detailing.
- Tech Pack Preparation- Assist in preparing clear and accurate tech packs with all necessary specifications for menswear samples and production.
- Brand Understanding- Develop a strong grasp of the brand’s menswear language, customer, and core categories.
- Cross-functional Collaboration- Coordinate with sourcing, category, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development and brand alignment.
- Timeline Management- Complete tasks within designated timelines, supporting the smooth functioning of the seasonal calendar.
- Ownership & Passion- Take responsibility for assigned tasks, demonstrate passion for menswear, and proactively contribute to team success.
- Innovation & Fresh Thinking- Bring in new ideas, suggest improvements in processes, and always look for ways to innovate within the menswear space.
- Team Collaboration- Be an enthusiastic and reliable team player, open to feedback and willing to support wherever needed.
Key Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.Around 2 years of relevant experience in menswear design.Strong design portfolio showcasing menswear-focused work.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop; understanding of tech pack creation is essential.Good knowledge of menswear trends, fits, fabrics, trims, and garment construction.Highly creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced team environment
