Job Description – Generative AI Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI / ML solutions using LLMs and GenAI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and hands-on experience with generative models (text, code, vision, or multimodal). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance GenAI solutions that drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and generative AI models for enterprise use cases.

Implement prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and fine-tuning approaches for domain-specific tasks.

Build scalable APIs and microservices to integrate AI models into products and platforms.

Work with large datasets to preprocess, clean, and optimize for training and inference.

Evaluate model performance and optimize for latency, accuracy, and efficiency.

Collaborate with product, data engineering, and DevOps teams to deploy AI solutions in production.

Stay updated on the latest developments in GenAI, multimodal models, and MLOps practices.

Ensure responsible AI practices, including bias detection, data privacy, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education : B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in Computer Science, AI / ML, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience : 5–8 years in AI / ML development, with at least 2–3 years in NLP / LLM / GenAI.

Strong knowledge of Python and frameworks like PyTorch / TensorFlow .

Hands-on experience with transformer models (GPT, LLaMA, BERT, etc.) and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).

Experience in fine-tuning LLMs, embeddings, and RAG pipelines .

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with MLOps pipelines (CI / CD, MLFlow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into AI solutions.

Good to Have

Experience with multimodal models (text + image / audio).

Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face ecosystem .

Knowledge of reinforcement learning (RLHF) .

Prior experience in renewable energy, utilities, or industrial AI domains.
