About the role :
As a Platform Engineer, you’ll be a key member of our development and operations teams, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. You’ll empower product teams to deploy applications efficiently by leveraging modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automation tools. What makes you a great fit :
- Proven experience in Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD
- Skilled in scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI / CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver)
- Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge
- Systematic, process-driven, and proactive in problem-solving
- Personable, confident, and adaptable to change
Key responsibilities :
Design, deploy, and manage scalable and fault-tolerant systems on GCPAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Deployment ManagerImplement and maintain secure network architecture, IAM roles, and access policiesCollaborate with development teams to build and maintain CI / CD pipelinesMonitor performance and availability of GCP resources, implementing disaster recovery strategiesProvide architectural guidance and best practices for GCP-based solutionsMentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharingParticipate in planning sessions to align infrastructure with project goalsBuild reusable tools and libraries to improve team efficiencyConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standardsPerks for our People :
