Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion RMCS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications , specifically with hands-on expertise in Revenue Management Cloud Services (RMCS) . This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end revenue management processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15. The consultant will work closely with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready RMCS solutions that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Configuration : Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion RMCS modules, including revenue contracts, performance obligations, and revenue allocation.
  • Revenue Management : Support end-to-end revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards.
  • Solution Design : Collaborate with finance and business teams to design and implement scalable RMCS solutions tailored to organizational needs.
  • Integration : Work with cross-functional teams to integrate RMCS with Oracle Fusion Financials , sub-ledger accounting, and other ERP / third-party systems.
  • Testing & Validation : Prepare test cases, execute functional testing, and ensure system validation for RMCS-related functionalities.
  • Support & Troubleshooting : Provide post-implementation support, resolve functional issues, and troubleshoot system problems in revenue processes.
  • Data Migration : Support revenue data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation with legacy systems.
  • Documentation : Develop detailed functional documentation, including BRDs, solution design documents, and user guides.
  • Stakeholder Management : Work with finance leaders, auditors, and compliance teams to ensure transparency and accuracy in revenue reporting.
  • Training & Enablement : Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer workshops to empower business users and internal IT teams.

Key Skills & Expertise

  • Oracle Fusion Applications : Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials and strong functional knowledge of Revenue Management Cloud Services (RMCS) .
  • Revenue Recognition Standards : Deep understanding of ASC 606, IFRS 15 , and other global revenue recognition regulations.
  • Finance & Accounting Knowledge : Strong background in revenue accounting, contract management, and sub-ledger integration.
  • System Expertise : Experience in configuring Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations, Standalone Selling Prices (SSP), and Allocations within RMCS.
  • Integration Skills : Familiarity with ERP integrations, including Oracle Fusion Cloud, middleware, and third-party applications.
  • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze revenue contracts, identify performance obligations, and ensure accurate allocation and recognition.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field .
  • 6+ years of professional experience , with at least 3+ years working specifically in Oracle Fusion RMCS .
  • Proven track record of end-to-end RMCS implementations and support engagements.
  • Strong understanding of ERP financial modules , accounting flows, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience working in industries with complex revenue arrangements such as Telecom, IT Services, SaaS, or Manufacturing is a plus.
