Project Manager (Railway Projects)

Job description. Lead site teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for effective execution. . Oversee field operations for embankment formation, subgrade preparation, concrete structures, and drainage systems. . Ensure proper utilization of machinery like dumpers, graders, compactors, batching plants, etc. . Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards. . Implement and enforce QA / QC protocols as per Railway / IRC / IS standards. . Ensure all testing and documentation (cube tests, soil compaction, concrete mix design) are properly maintained. . Promote a zero-accident culture and compliance with safety norms. . Ensure environmental and statutory compliance (pollution, mining, material sourcing, etc.). . Liaise with Railway authorities, consultants, clients, and internal departments for smooth execution. . Attend project review meetings and prepare progress reports. . Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely supply of materials. . Interface with design and planning teams for technical clarifications. . Monitor material consumption, wastage control, and productivity levels. . Verify subcontractor bills, client measurements, and progress certification. . Ensure adherence to budget and recommend cost optimization methods. . B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred). . Minimum 12 years of experience in Railway infrastructure projects with strong exposure to earthwork and structure works (bridges, ROBs, culverts, retaining walls). . Hands-on experience with Railway / DFCCIL / RVNL / IRCON or major EPC contractors preferred. . Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) desirable.

- . Plan, organize, and manage execution of earthwork, minor and major bridges, ROBs, RUBs, and other structural works as per approved drawings and schedules.
- . Review project plans, BOQs, and specifications to ensure scope clarity.
- . Coordinate with design, survey, and quality teams for alignment finalization and technical approvals.
- . Prepare and monitor work schedules, manpower, and equipment deployment plans.
- . Ensure work progress aligns with milestones and take corrective measures for delays.
