Role Overview
The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing and executing territory-level strategies to achieve sales targets, engage key stakeholders, and ensure brand presence. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze market data and research to prepare actionable territory working plans.
- Monitor, follow up, and achieve territory sales targets in line with business objectives.
- Implement and execute sales and marketing strategies effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, stockists, retailers, chemists, and institutional pharmacies.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to timelines for multiple internal processes.
- Demonstrate strong in-clinic performance with effective product detailing.
- Organize CME programs, camps, and events aligned with division strategies and customer needs.
- Conduct prescription audits to assess market trends, competitor activity, and Abbott brand performance.
- Generate Primary Order Bookings (POBs) for Abbott brands as per business plans.
- Explain basic anatomy, physiology, and the Abbott product portfolio confidently to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and communications via MS Excel, Word, and email.
Required Qualifications & Skills
MBA is mandatory (preferably in Marketing, Sales, or related field).Strong verbal communication skills in English and local language.Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Email).Fast learner with adaptability to changing market conditions.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Experience
