Mongo DB Developer (Full-time at a Fortune 500 tech MNC)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using MongoDB Atlas.

Lead data migration initiatives, especially from Oracle to MongoDB.

Apply strong data warehousing and dimensional data modeling principles in designing data solutions.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and transformation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and architects.

Engage with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present architectural solutions.

Ensure best practices in data management, including security, governance, and compliance.

Work closely with leadership to align data architecture with business goals.

Technical Skills

Mandatory :

MongoDB (including MongoDB Atlas)

Dimensional Data Modeling

Data Warehousing Concepts

SQL

Preferred / Nice to Have :

Experience in Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools

Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server

Prior involvement in data migration projects

Exposure to cloud data platforms

Soft Skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and technical teams

Domain knowledge in Insurance or other regulated industries (preferred)

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
