Ag Farming & Storage Ops Team Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead field team and assist Regional Manager in implementing better extension model for 'Farmer Connect'.
- Realignment of territory and vendor base as per the change in model of operation.
- ENSURING IMPLEMENTATION OF CF NORM / SEED SALE / VENDOR DATA BASE.
- Get agreements signs off from field & Cold Store stakeholders.
- Lead potato storage management in his territory (Direct & Supervision)
- Lead due diligence & audit compliance of all cold stores of the territory.
- Identification and development of third-party cold store as per PIH norms for seed / chip grade, maintenance of long-term potato stocks as per protocol.
- Realignment of Storage base (new & existing) & improve on store S&R% assisting Regional Manager.
- Lead 'Agro Digitalization' in Central India & also remain key user in PAN India.
- Lead / Develop / Sustain - capability of smart-Agro & ensure 100% compliance through end-users.
- Ensure documentation of terrain wise entries & MIS reporting for the territory through end users' hand-held tabs.
- Prepare AOP for the region in collaboration with Regional Manager.
- Ensuring uninterrupted supplies of Potato for the plant - Day / week / month & season wise.
- Identify / create / develop / grow / sustain new as well early areas of agro-contacts / farming pockets.
- Ensure discipline amongst partners / suppliers / effective administration and implementation of PepsiCo policy COC.
- Own and drive the Safety agenda - in the territory (field / Cold Stores)
- Lead SFP agenda to develop sustainable relationship with farmers and other stakeholders in the territory.
- Develop capable vendors of NCF to deliver potato for to plants.
- Identify / grow / sustain best variety for a 'win-win' model for stake-holders & PepsiCo.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate / PG in Agriculture / MBA - Marketing / Supply ChainFunctional Experience : Approx. 3-5 years of experienceAt least 3-5 years of hardcore agriculture Input sales / procurement / supply chain experience in a sales / manufacturing / processing set up.Proven experience of dealing with farmers, traders, negotiation, selling, collaboration, agricultural departments & state agricultural policy.Experience of dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, CPRI, CIP, & other Agricultural nodal bodiesSkills Required
