We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Development team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade software products that are used by some of the worlds leading financial services, insurance, and manufacturing organizations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA, and REST APIs.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve production issues, ensuring stability and performance.
- Refactor, modernize, and document legacy code to improve maintainability.
- Partner with architects, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality releases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to analyse system behaviour, logs, and root causes in distributed and monolithic environments.
- Support hotfixes and critical production escalations with quick and reliable solutions.
- Advocate and implement best practices in coding, design patterns, and system performance optimization.
- Mentor junior developers and guide them on debugging, design, and architectural decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development, deployment, and monitoring practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA, REST APIs, Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization, working with large-scale, production-facing applicationsStrong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).Hands-on experience in multi-threaded and distributed environments, with a strong understanding of concurrency, synchronization, and scalability challenges.Good knowledge and practical application of common design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Observer, Strategy) in building maintainable and scalable solutions.Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and integration test cases using JUnit.Experience with Git, Linux environments, and shell scripting.Ability to analyse and refactor complex codebases.Pragmatic mind-set with focus on system reliability and long-term maintainability.Familiarity with emerging AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Co-pilot, AI-based code analysis).Nice to Have :
Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).Experience with monitoring / logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, Grafana.Hands-on experience using AI tools in production for debugging, documentation, or code generation.(ref : hirist.tech)
