We are currently seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Senior Performance Test Engineer

Summary :

The Global Communications and Brand Tech (GCBT) at HSBC oversees a diverse range of services and applications that support our Enterprise Technology. Our portfolio encompasses the Sitecore Public Website and Intranet Digital Workplace (DWP).

We are seeking aPerformance Testing Expert to design, implement, and optimize our performance testing strategy across multiple public and staff web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices. They will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure our web applications and services are highly scalable, responsive, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a comprehensive performance testing strategy across all the projects.
• Identify key performance metrics and design test scenarios accordingly.
• Design, develop, and execute different types of performance tests to evaluate application performance under different conditions.
• Automate performance testing as part of CI / CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results to identify performance issues and bottlenecks at application, API, database, and infrastructure levels.
• Generate detailed performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor application / infrastructure performance in production and provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with Developers, Architects, and DevOps Engineers to optimize system performance
