Job description

Inventory Management & Optimization :

  • Supervise stock movement reports and maintain balanced inventory levels.
  • Ensure efficient handling of URD and ageing stock.
  • Conduct daily physical stock audits and reconciliations to uphold accuracy.
  • Implement systematic inventory segregation based on quality, category, and store-specific requirements.
  • Address and resolve challenges related to stock planning, movement, and ageing inventory.
  • Utilize sales data, seasonal trends, and consumption patterns to forecast stock requirements.

Billing, Documentation & Compliance :

  • Manage accurate invoicing, pricing updates, and credit notes within the ERP system.
  • Ensure all statutory documentation is completed for seamless dispatch operations.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of dispatch records with inventory system data.

    • Distribution & Logistics Coordination :

  • Oversee the distribution of finished goods across multiple locations based on demand.
  • Develop and execute timely dispatch plans aligned with regional stock requirements.
  • Maintain compliance and quality assurance while supervising secure goods movement.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration & Customer Support :

  • Work closely with sales teams to align inventory availability with consumer demand.
  • Address store-specific stock selection, dispatch, and repair concerns.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from store teams to improve inventory planning strategies.
  • Partner with logistics and accounts departments to enhance workflow efficiency.

    • Stock Audits & Risk Mitigation :

  • Conduct unannounced stock audits to ensure physical stock aligns with system records.
  • Implement effective tagging and tracking mechanisms for better inventory traceability.
  • Identify slow-moving and non-moving stock, recommending strategic actions for optimization.

    • Leadership & Operational Efficiency :

  • Lead the inventory control team, ensuring efficient workflow and operational accuracy.
  • Assign and oversee key inventory tasks, including stock tagging, segregation, and dispatch planning.
  • Drive continuous process improvements through ERP-driven inventory strategies.
