Job Summary : To drive business growth and profitability across key e-commerce partners by developing joint business plans, optimizing investments, and ensuring flawless execution of sales and marketing initiatives. The role requires strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners to deliver category leadership and brand visibility for client’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Planning & Delivery
- Develop and deliver the annual business plan for e-commerce accounts.
- Build and execute detailed quarterly and monthly plans aligned to revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
- Track and report key business metrics including sales, profitability, and working capital.
Strategic & Shopper Planning
Partner with Marketing to develop shopper and category marketing programs tailored for e-commerce channels.Leverage shopper insights and analytics to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions.Track competitive activity and translate category insights into actionable product development inputs.Account Management & Partner Engagement
Manage day-to-day operations and performance of marketplace accounts (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, TataCliq, Ajio, Nykaa, etc.).Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) discussions and ensure timely execution of commitments.Drive revenue growth, category expansion, product visibility and margins.Analyse sales trends, pricing, traffic, and conversions to identify business opportunities.Implement promotional plans, marketing campaigns, visibility solutions, and deal structures.Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, business development teams, and platform stakeholders.Financial & Operational Dimensions
Deliver revenue and profitability targets for assigned accounts.Manage overdues, collections, and ensure disciplined execution of investments.Ensure adequate inventory planning and availability in coordination with supply chain.Key Requirements :
6–10 years of total experience, with at least 4-5 years of exclusive exposure to e-commerce account management.Prior experience within the industry preferred, else fashion, lifestyle, or adjacent consumer categories ( personal accessories) preferred.Strong understanding of marketplace operations, advertising tools, and growth levers.Excellent analytical skills (Excel, data interpretation, forecasting).Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Deep understanding of e-commerce levers – search marketing, browse marketing, traffic management, pricing, and promotional tools.MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
