Project Overview :

Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of an existing petrochemical facilities in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel’s India offices. Both scopes, PMC and EPCM, are substantial with multi-million job-hours estimated across them. This position will start as an assignment in Dahej.

Job Summary :

Responsible for the organization and activities relating to construction engineering, subcontracts, and engineering liaison to the design functional group. Interprets design drawings and specifications. Supervises field verification of materials. Provides technical direction to contractors in construction engineering and design functions relating to electrical engineering in an area of the project.

Education and Experience Requirements :

A recognized degree in Electrical engineering or scientific discipline. Actual work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the technical knowledge described above.
