Job Summary
The Dermatologist is primarily responsible for performing Hair Transplant Surgeries (FUE and FUT) with high precision and clinical excellence, while also providing comprehensive dermatological and aesthetic care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Care
- Conduct detailed consultations and clinical evaluations for hair and skin concerns.
- Design individualized treatment plans for hair restoration and dermatological conditions.
- Treat a wide range of cases including alopecia, scalp infections, acne, pigmentation, eczema, and psoriasis.
- Perform both medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures with a patient-centered approach.
2. Clinical Procedures
Perform and lead Hair Transplant Surgeries (FUE / FUT), ensuring optimal graft survival and natural results.Supervise the OT team and technicians during transplant procedures to maintain clinical standards.Conduct dermatologic surgeries such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.Perform cosmetic treatments including PRP, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, lasers, and skin rejuvenation therapies.Operate advanced dermatology and trichology equipment confidently and accurately.3. Patient Education
Counsel patients on pre- and post-transplant care, skincare routines, and long-term maintenance.Educate patients about available treatments, recovery expectations, and preventive care.Build strong patient relationships through empathy, communication, and professionalism.4. Collaboration and Teamwork
Work closely with the clinic’s clinical and support teams to deliver seamless patient care.Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and cross-functional coordination.Support and mentor junior staff and technicians in clinical and surgical procedures.5. Documentation and Compliance
Maintain detailed, accurate medical records of all consultations and surgeries.Adhere to ethical, safety, and regulatory guidelines as per clinic and medical standards.Prepare periodic clinical reports and updates for management review.6. Learning and Development
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology, trichology, and cosmetic procedures.Attend internal training sessions, workshops, and CME programs.Contribute to research, innovation, and continuous improvement in clinical practices.Qualifications and Experience
MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.Postgraduate specialization in Dermatology (MD / DNB / DDVL).Valid registration and medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dermatology with proven expertise in Hair Transplant Surgery.Ability to perform FUE / FUT techniques independently and lead surgical teams.
