About the Role :

The Manager, Software Engineering leads the build-out, development, and management of a team of developers responsible for creating and maintaining systems, platforms, and tools that support T-Mobile’s internal and external business needs. This role is critical in delivering scalable software solutions, building technical strategy, and collaborating closely with product and IT partners. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can coach a high-performing team, drive platform improvements, and deliver complex analytics or BI solutions.

What You’ll Do :

Lead and manage a team of developers by setting direction, providing coaching, and conducting performance reviews.

Ensure project deliverables meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements.

Drive continuous improvement across development practices, tooling, processes, and security / compliance adherence.

Manage technical relationships with vendors, influence roadmap discussions, and advocate for key platform features.

Hire and onboard new talent, improve team productivity, and scale the engineering capabilities as needed.

Deliver business intelligence and analytics solutions by guiding the technical architecture and data workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT partners across multiple ongoing projects.

Support strategic initiatives, and ensure long-term platform stability and adaptability.

What You’ll Bring :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a computer programming related field

8–10 years experience in Software Development

5-7 experience in managing or supervising a team of 15 developers or more

Knowledge in : Software Development

Must Have Skills :

Software Engineering, Web and Mobile App development using modern stack, Cloud Computing [AWS, Azure or GCP], API development, CI / CD

Nice To Have :

Software Engineering, Experience in modern Mobile and Web stack [React, Node, Python etc.]

Experience in Generative AI
