Position Overview :

Our client, a renowned and well-established broker-dealer, is seeking an experienced Institutional Equities Cash Futures Arbitrage Dealer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Indian equities market, with a deep understanding of cash and futures arbitrage strategies. This role focuses on optimizing trading strategies, managing risk, and providing liquidity to institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute and manage cash and futures arbitrage trades for institutional clients, ensuring optimal pricing and execution.

Analyze market trends and volatility to identify arbitrage opportunities between cash and futures markets.

Collaborate with research teams to develop and refine trading strategies based on macroeconomic insights and market conditions.

Monitor and manage portfolio risk, ensuring compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.

Develop robust trading models and algorithms to enhance trading efficiency and performance.

Maintain relationships with key institutional clients, providing market insights and trade execution support.

Prepare daily and weekly trading reports, summarizing performance metrics and market analysis for senior management.

Coordinate with operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless trade execution and settlement processes.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies affecting the trading landscape.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in institutional equities trading, specifically in cash and futures arbitrage on the sell side.

Proven track record of successful trading strategies and achieving performance targets.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market indicators.

Proficient in trading platforms and tools commonly used in the Indian equities market.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory frameworks affecting equity trading.
