About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer who treats cloud infrastructure as a product and owns it end-to-end. You will be single-handedly responsible for architecture, security, cost, reliability, and velocity of everything that runs in AWS and GCP.

This is NOT a “ticket-closing” cloud support role. This is an owner-level position where you design, implement, govern, and continuously optimize multi-cloud infrastructure that powers a mission-critical healthcare product processing billions of rupees in claims.

What You’ll Own

• Full ownership of AWS and GCP environments (VPC, Compute, Storage, Networking, Security)
• IAM & least-privilege governance at scale (IAM roles, SCPs, Resource Policies, Permission Boundaries, GCP Organization Policies)
• Landing zone & multi-account strategy (AWS Organizations + Control Tower or custom, GCP Folders & Projects hierarchy)
• Cloud cost optimization & FinOps – target of 25–40 % monthly savings without sacrificing performance (Commit Savings Plans, RIs, Spot, GCP Committed Use Discounts, custom dashboards, alerts)
• Billing alarms, budgeting, tagging enforcement, anomaly detection
• CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild, Google Cloud Build, ArgoCD, Terraform Cloud or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform (must), CloudFormation / CDK bonus
• Observability & monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus+Grafana, GCP Operations Suite, Datadog / NewRelic welcome)
• Security & compliance hardening (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, GCP Security Command Center, SCPs, encryption-at-rest & in-transit)
• Disaster recovery, backup strategies, and chaos engineering practices
• Developer experience – self-service environments, golden paths, internal platform tools
