About Emmacare

Emmacare is a leading SaaS platform powering chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, and telehealth workflows. We partner with physician groups, home health agencies, and payers to improve outcomes for patients with chronic conditions through advanced care coordination, real-time monitoring, and secure integrations with EMRs and other clinical systems. We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. This role is central to deploying Emmacare for new clients, integrating with healthcare systems, and ensuring seamless technical onboarding. You will work closely with customers, technical teams, and clinical stakeholders to deliver successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements :

○ Strong experience with PHP and Symfony framework.

○ Proficiency with MariaDB (preferred) or MySQL.

○ Experience with AWS services : ECS, EC2, and RDS.

○ Experience of REST API design and implementation.

○ Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

○ Experience with HL7 / FHIR standards.

○ Understanding of secure messaging and EDI workflows.

○ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders.

○ Experience in customer-facing technical roles (implementation, integration, or support).

○ High-level proficiency in English (written and spoken).
